The best basics.



In advertising we talk about brands that have the ‘best basics.’ 

By this we mean despite the fancy ad campaigns and celebrity endorsements - do these brands actually care about their customers.    At the most basic level do they have a number for customers to call?  And do they care enough to resolve issues and complaints quickly and efficiently? 

The reason I’m writing about this, is because we can apply this thinking into our everyday lives. Good news for us is that, our best basics start with eating well and exercising regularly.

I’m not a nutritionist but I do know that eating properly is the single most important gift we can give ourselves.   If we combine eating well with a healthy dose of regular exercise, then we’re on our way.

Care enough about yourself to get the basics right.  Or at least do the very best you can.
