I'm Already Married - Part II

‘Already Married’ guy who attended a speed dating event and who confessed by text to being married sent another text on Monday asking:

‘How about you, are you married’?
His text was ignored.  Yesterday he texted again saying:
‘Hi, I’ve got a friend Raj and the two of you would be perfect.  Let me know if you’d like me to set up a date.  He is very interested in meeting you’.
I’m not quite sure where ‘Already Married’ guy is going with this one.  The best option is to delete, delete and delete.  He’ll get the message soon enough.

  1. I think that sounds really exciting and very flattering. Clearly married guy thinks you're such hot stuff that he wants somebody to benefit, even if he isn't. May be controversial, but I think you should meet Raj! Lx

  2. Only thing is that he has already lied about being married. Difficult to give a second chance.

  3. I would tell married2 that "if Raj is so interested he should get in touch, assuming he's not married."

This shows that you don't think that anyone married should get in touch (i.e. married2 himself).

Basically i feel that as annoying as it is that the contact with Raj is coming from a married guy who attended a speedating event, he (Raj) could still be a valid candidate ;) A while ago we didn't like the idea of online dating as a way to meet...where/how we meet might be less important than just the opportunity (which may come in all sorts of weird ways) to meet the right person.
